In 1998 José Pascual created the DJ Awards — back when you could come to Ibiza for seven days, party at the biggest clubs until dawn, watch the sunset with a cocktail in your hand for under £500, and still go home and change for a curry on your last night before work.
Those days are long gone. VIP culture and table service have taken over the island and priced the regular party seeker out. The DJ Awards intends to change that, by leading the charge for clubs to have their VIPs offset the cost of partying for the people on the dancefloor. We invite Jet2 to help us change the way people party in Ibiza — and let everyone build dancefloor memories that last a lifetime.
The #JET2DJAWARDS Holiday. All in, ninety-nine places. Vote for your favourite DJ and win the chance to meet them.
Jet2 emails its entire database of customers who have flown with them and asks them to vote in the DJ Awards. Everyone votes through a co-branded Jet2 DJ Awards voting portal — so the vote happens inside a Jet2 environment, the data is captured at source, and every entrant goes into the draw for a £19.99 place. It costs Jet2 a send and a landing page, and it is the entire engine of the campaign.
The DJ Awards turns 25 this October at Amnesia, and we're the Official Airline Partner.
Every UK vote goes into the draw for one of 99 places — flights, hotel and entry to the awards.

It is transactional, so it opens at several times the rate of any marketing send, and it lands on somebody who has just bought a flight to Spain. If Jet2 grants one placement in the whole estate, this is the one to ask for — it is where five hundred thousand voters comes from.
Jet2 already runs conversational outdoor better than anyone in the category. This is the same voice, pointed at closing week.
It is the strongest line here and the riskiest. It never names a club, but Ibiza operators will read it as aimed at them — and several of them sit on the Grand Jury. Worth running the first two and holding this one unless the press make the comparison first, at which point it is simply agreeing with them.
The arrivals board is the single most reproduced image of the night. It runs in global music and travel press for months, and it travels again every time an artist posts their own photo from it.
| The red carpet | Jet2-branded carpet and arrivals board. Every winner and nominee photographed on it, and those images travel with the artists' own posts. |
| The boarding stairs | The main stairwell up to the Amnesia terrace balcony dressed as aircraft boarding steps. Nobody needs it explained, and everybody films it. |
| 99 balcony places | For Jet2 to give away to customers — the best view in the room, and a prize that costs a seat rather than a holiday. |
| The Jet2 bar | A branded bar serving Jet2 cocktails to the balcony guests. Named drinks, in hand, in every photograph taken from the best vantage point in the building. |
| Free admission | Free entry to the DJ Awards for any Jet2 customer on the island that week — arriving and departing on a Jet2 flight. Claimed through a booking-reference microsite. |
| The pool sessions | Daytime sessions at the hotel with the Emerging Artist nominees and one headline name, programmed by us and hosted under Jet2 branding. |
| The award | Jet2 names Best Club Moment. The voice of the Jet2 ad collects it on stage and shares the moment across her own channels. |
A single-page microsite. Enter the Jet2 booking reference, we validate that the flight arrives before and departs after 7 October, and the ticket is issued. It ties the free admission to a genuine Jet2 booking, gives Jet2 a clean redemption number, and takes about a day to build.
The same mechanic caps the exposure: the allocation is finite, and every claim is matched to one booking reference.
You're in. Enter your booking reference and we'll send your free ticket to the DJ Awards on 7 October.
Valid for customers arriving before and departing after 7 October 2026 on a Jet2 flight. One ticket per booking reference. Subject to venue capacity.
For one night we take over the legendary Amnesia Terrace — as the club itself turns fifty — and transform it into a gala hall: fifty-three tables of ten, white linen, full silver service, and a Golden Globes-style awards show at its heart.
It begins on the red carpet, and this is where your ninety-nine arrive. Up the boarding stairs to the balcony, where there are canapés and an open bar all night and the best view of the terrace in the building — the ceremony below, the artists at the tables, and the whole room lit for broadcast.
As dinner is served, the history of dance music unfolds across three acts of immersive theatre, building to the ceremony itself, broadcast live to millions on YouTube.
Then, at midnight, the doors open. The tables are cleared, three thousand clubbers pour in, and the Terrace comes alive for one of the biggest nights of the season — DJs from across genres and generations going back-to-back until sunrise.
Your customers are in the room for all of it.
Everyone who enters goes into a prize draw for the DJ Awards archive — t-shirts, DVDs and memorabilia going back to 1998. Real merchandise with real heritage, and it costs nothing to give away.
The ceremony is broadcast live on YouTube, presented by Idris Elba, to an audience in the millions. Every single entrant is sent the link — so nobody who votes goes home with nothing.
Anyone already on the island that week who flew in and out with Jet2 gets free entry to the awards, claimed against their booking reference. No competition to win, no catch.
Idris Elba presenting is stated here as planned rather than contracted — worth confirming before this goes in front of Jet2, because it is the kind of detail a partner will repeat back to you.
Not a one-off sponsorship. Two campaign moments a year, tied to the two dates that matter to Jet2 — the February booking window and Ibiza closing week — with each one feeding the next.
The Dancefloor Memories campaign. Post your best night on a dancefloor as a 30-second video, tag @djawards and #JET2DJAWARDS, and tell us why. Win a Jet2 holiday to the Ibiza opening parties with the DJ Awards.
Voting opens 17 August. Every Jet2 customer who registers through the co-branded portal goes into the lottery for a £19.99 place, driven by the database and every vote-now placement Jet2 owns.
The ninety-nine arrive, the red carpet runs, the balcony fills, and Jet2's own crew film all of it — which is what makes February work the following year.
Straight to camera: the best night you ever had on a dancefloor, and the DJ who was playing. Tag both brands. The DJ Awards Grand Jury picks the winners rather than a like count, which keeps it credible and stops it becoming a popularity contest.
It works because it is nostalgic rather than aspirational. A forty-seven-year-old in Wakefield posts about Cream in 2001 and his daughter posts about last Saturday, under the same tag, for the same brand.
Example of the Dancefloor Memory format
Bring your own crew to Ibiza and film the whole thing — the winners boarding at their home airport, the bus, the red carpet, the balcony, the pool sessions, the party until dawn. Jet2 goes home owning a year of social content shot on location with real customers, at no media cost.
It is what makes February's campaign run on real film of real winners rather than a promise.
One category, one airline. We bring the night, the talent and the stage. Jet2 brings the aircraft, the beds, the database and the crew.
The fee is not stated here or in the deck. At £19.99 against a real cost of roughly £250 to £400 a head, Jet2 is subsidising around £25,000 to £38,000 across the ninety-nine — cheap for the headline, but it has to be presented as a one-off anniversary edition and never as a repeatable price. Hotel and final place count to be confirmed once Jet2 nominate the property.
Democratise the dancefloor. Bring the fun back. Access for the many rather than the few — and the Jet2 halo effect over all of it, because the brand that made Europe affordable is the only one that can credibly make the best night in Ibiza affordable too.
Voting opens on 17 August. The campaign only works if the partnership is announced alongside it, so there is no float left in the calendar.
